There are still no official figures for the number of students who are children of officials from the Party, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in Kon Tum province.
Regarding this issue, the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee has directed specialized agencies to advise the Provincial Party Committee, socio-political organizations, and affiliated public service units to coordinate with corresponding agencies of Kon Tum province to determine the number of students who are children of cadres of the Party, the Front, and socio-political organizations who need to register to study at schools in Quang Ngai province.
This data must be reported to the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee for synthesis and sent to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee before June 20.
On this basis, the Provincial Party Committee directed the Department of Education and Training to have a plan to arrange facilities, classrooms and provide guidance on school transfer and appropriate admission for students.
In addition, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province and relevant agencies should consider establishing a permanent unit to act as a focal point for providing information on housing and rental housing in the area. This is to support and facilitate officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of Kon Tum province when they come to work at the new Quang Ngai Provincial Administrative Center.
Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces will merge and be named Quang Ngai province. The new Quang Ngai province has an area of over 14,800 square kilometers, a population of nearly 2.2 million people, and 96 administrative units.
The political and administrative center of Quang Ngai province after the merger is located in present Quang Ngai province.
After the merger, about 1,000 officials from Kon Tum province moved to work at the new Quang Ngai Provincial Administrative Center.
