More than 60 businesses participate in connecting technology supply and demand

On the morning of October 10, at the City Convention and Performance Center, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Hai Phong city coordinated with the Center for Innovative Enterprise Cooperation, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and Belgian enterprises to organize a "Technology supply and demand connection session between domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises".

Attending the Connection Session were Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Science and Technology Le Luong Thinh; Ms. Roh Eun Jo, Director of the Center for Innovation and Business Cooperation, Korea Institute of Science and Technology and representatives of relevant departments, branches, units and enterprises.

Speaking at the Connection Session, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong Le Luong Thinh emphasized: The Connection Session is not only a forum for businesses to exchange and introduce new technologies, but also an open space for opportunities for cooperation, investment, technology transfer and joint research, a vivid demonstration of the spirit of cooperation - integration - innovation between Vietnamese and international businesses. The Deputy Director of the Department hopes that through the working sessions, connections, and direct 1:1 exchanges, Hai Phong businesses in particular and Vietnam in general will find suitable partners and optimal technologies for their needs; at the same time, foreign businesses will also realize the great potential of the Hai Phong and Vietnam markets, thereby expanding investment, production and research.

Ms. Roh Eun Joo, Director of the Center for Innovative Enterprise Cooperation at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), shared: Since the 1970s, through the development of digital switching technology and fiber optic technology, Korea has built global competitiveness in the field of information technology. Based on that experience in researching and developing industrial technology, KIST has cooperated with the Korean Government to contribute to the establishment of the Vietnam - Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) in Vietnam in 2015. In the future, KIST will continue to promote cooperation with industrial enterprises in Hai Phong city through VKIST. Ms. Roh Eun Joo hopes that at this Connection Session, there will be many practical ideas and proposals to realize the goal of "Unlimited innovation - Reaching out to the ocean" of Techfest Hai Phong 2025, creating opportunities for businesses, research institutes and management agencies of Vietnam - Korea to share experiences, technology and expand in-depth cooperation.

At the Connection Session, delegates listened to representatives of businesses introduce, discuss and share some contents: Smart traffic and monitoring technology solutions; Smart motion control system; Gait analysis technology (Telemedicine); Beverage ingredient processing and packaging technology; Call center software with integrated AI NCS and Chatbot Dialogg AI; Automatic seed sowing robot technology, high-tech agricultural applications...

Participating in this Connection Session are also 06 foreign enterprises operating in key technology fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation, clean energy, digital transformation and smart agricultural technology; more than 60 enterprises in the city and from neighboring provinces and individuals wishing to become production and business partners with foreign enterprises. The participation of enterprises not only contributes to promoting international cooperation and developing the science and technology market of Hai Phong city, but also brings highly applicable solutions, supporting the improvement of production efficiency, business and innovation of domestic enterprises.

After the units introduced and launched their superior technology products, the units, organizations and businesses entered 1:1 connection sessions.

“Technology supply and demand connection session between domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises” is a key activity within the framework of TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025, contributing to creating an effective bridge between the Vietnamese and international business communities, promoting the commercialization of research results, innovation and development of the city's knowledge economy./.
