More than 700 athletes participate in VTV Pickleball Cup 2025

On the afternoon of November 24, Vietnam Television held a ceremony to announce the organization of the VTV Cup Pickleball Tournament 2025. This is an important step to kick off the largest pickleball tournament ever in Vietnam.

The Organizing Committee met with the press to provide information about the VTV Cup 2025 Pickleball Tournament.

The tournament is jointly organized by the Sports Department - Vietnam Television, the Vietnam Sports Department, Usports and related units. Da Huong brand is the main sponsor of the tournament. The Organizing Committee aims to build the tournament into a prestigious annual event, with wide influence and community attraction.

More than 700 athletes will participate in the tournament, including many notable names in Vietnamese and international sports such as Truong Vinh Hien, Do Minh Quan, Ly Hoang Nam, Sophia Phuong Anh, Jolie Thien Lam, Sophia Huynh Tran, Vanshik Kapadia, Harsh Mehta. The players will compete in nine events: men's singles, women's doubles, professional men's doubles; men's doubles, women's doubles, amateur mixed doubles for those 30 years old and under; men's doubles, women's doubles, amateur mixed doubles for those 35 years old and over.

The tournament will take place from November 28-30 at the US Pickleball Complex, Hong Ha Ward ( Hanoi ). This is a complex of 23 American-standard courts, with modern investment to serve professional competition.

In addition to the facilities, the tournament applies MK Vision's IRS system consisting of 10 AI cameras placed at key locations, allowing referees to review situations from multiple angles, increasing accuracy and fairness in competition.

The total prize value of the tournament exceeds 1 billion VND, awarded to the champions, runners-up, third place and a series of individual awards such as the first ATP shot, the first Erne shot. Another highlight is the title of Miss Pickleball VTV Cup 2025, to honor the beauty and role of female athletes in the pickleball community as well as in sports life.

At the announcement ceremony, the Organizing Committee also launched a fundraising program to support the people of the South Central region affected by natural disasters. The program lasted from November 24-30 with a call for cooperation from athletes, fans and accompanying units.

This year's tournament attracted many top Pickleball players, including Ly Hoang Nam.

The VTV Cup 2025 Pickleball Tournament also marks the first time a pickleball tournament in Vietnam will be broadcast live on national television. VTV will broadcast the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, 2 opening matches and 3 final matches on VTV2 channel and VTVgo application.

Some of the featured matches are broadcast live on VTVgo, VTV Sports Fanpage and VTV Sports Youtube. All information related to the tournament will be continuously updated on the official platforms of Vietnam Television and the Organizing Committee.
