Midfielder Nguyen Van Khanh
The most prominent among the "new recruits" is midfielder Nguyen Van Khanh (born in 2008) - a "rare" of the Hong Linh Ha Tinh academy. Although he belongs to the U17 group, in the past 2 years, Van Khanh has played at the U19 level and was called up by coach Cristiano Roland to the Vietnam U17 team to participate in the qualifying round and final round of the 2025 U17 Asia. With exquisite personal technique, sharp tactical vision and formidable free kick ability, Van Khanh is expected to be an explosive factor in the near future.
Another name that cannot be ignored is Dang Duc Quang - the main striker of U19 Hong Linh Ha Tinh. Possessing an ideal physique and good pressing ability, Duc Quang helped the team reach the quarterfinals of the 2025 National U19 and won the runner-up position of the 2023 National U17. He was also a member of the Vietnam U17 team that same year.
Winger Nguyen Huy Hoang Phu
Meanwhile, Nguyen Huy Hoang Phu, a winger of U19, stands out with his speedy runs and ability to create breakthroughs. At the 2023 National U17 Tournament, Hoang Phu scored 3 goals and had 2 assists, contributing greatly to the team's runner-up journey.

Promoting a series of young players to the first team was not an impromptu decision. Previously, Hong Linh Ha Tinh announced the appointment of coach Nguyen Cong Manh as head coach to replace Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong after this strategist withdrew due to health reasons.
Immediately after taking office, Coach Nguyen Cong Manh clearly expressed his intention to rejuvenate the squad and put his trust in "homegrown products". “The players will be trained under the direct guidance of the first team’s coaching staff. After this process, those who perform well will be retained to compete in the V.League. This is an opportunity for young talents to prove themselves and is also one of the strategies to rebuild the internal squad when I return to coach Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club,” Coach Nguyen Cong Manh shared with Van Hoa Newspaper.
Besides Van Khanh, Duc Quang or Hoang Phu, a series of names such as Ngoc Dung (U19 captain, fiery central defender), Doan Manh (versatile midfielder/striker), Quoc Phong (solid central defender), Chien Thang (sharp attacking midfielder), Quang Le (energetic right-back) or Sinh Hung (smart, technical midfielder) are all potential tactical cards.
With a squad of young players gradually maturing, along with a clear personnel strategy from coach Nguyen Cong Manh, Hong Linh Ha Tinh is quietly preparing for a transformation. Not noisy, not boisterous, but full of ambition - the Nui Hong team promises to be a name worth waiting for in the V.League next season.
