Press conference to announce VPBANK Dat Sen Hong Music Marathon 2025

(DTO) On the afternoon of August 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province coordinated with Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank and Nexus Media Joint Stock Company to hold a press conference to announce the VPBank Dat Sen Hong Music Marathon 2025. The VPBank Dat Sen Hong Music Marathon 2025 will take place from October 10 to 12 in Cao Lanh Ward. This year's tournament has the theme "Pioneer - Breakthrough", the event is expected to attract about 12,000 domestic and international athletes to participate, with 4 distances including: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 42 km suitable for both professional athletes, amateur runners, families and children.

This year, the 800m children's run is also organized under the name Kun Fun Run Dong Thap , promising to bring a dynamic, healthy and laughter-filled playground for about 2,000 children.

“VPBank Dat Sen Hong Music Marathon 2025 is the largest event in the Southwest region in terms of the number of participants and professionalism. In addition, throughout the 3 days of the event, there will be typical music - culture - culinary activities, creating a complete festival, contributing to widely promoting the image of Dong Thap - a destination rich in identity of the Southwest region.

This year's Marathon season has a special meaning after the merger of Tien Giang and Dong Thap provinces, making the race a symbol of harmony - connection - starting a new development journey of the land rich in historical traditions, culture and love of sports.

The Organizing Committee also committed to contributing a portion of the revenue from the tournament to research and conservation activities for the red-crowned crane - a rare ecological symbol and the pride of Dong Thap province, demonstrating social responsibility and commitment to sustainable development.
