Speaking on the afternoon of January 17, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the Da Nang Friendship and Cooperation Cities Forum 2025 is an important event opening a series of international events taking place in the city this year.

In front of 200 international guests from more than 50 foreign localities (22 countries and territories) that have cooperation with Da Nang, the city chairman hopes that the parties will increase discussions on key areas such as innovation, to promote cooperation in the field of research, development and application of new technologies.

Emphasizing to investors from various countries, Da Nang leaders called for focusing on investment cooperation in the fields of high technology, semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence, urban planning, sustainable tourism , environmental protection and cultural heritage...

Sharing at this forum, Mr. Tom Tate, Mayor of Gold Coast City (Australia), commented that Da Nang and Gold Coast are two cities with high similarities in geography as well as developed tourism industry.

He said that with the continuous expansion of the local cooperation map and the exploitation of tourism development potential, this is a great opportunity for Da Nang to access new information, visions, trends and technologies to serve socio -economic development.
