Meeting to review the manuscript of the book "Cao Bang Land and People"

On the morning of December 23, the Provincial Council for Historical Manuscripts Appraisal held a meeting to appraise the manuscript of the book “ Cao Bang Land and People”. Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Appraisal Council chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were members of the Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of the book.

After a period of research, compilation and 2 seminars, the manuscript of the book "Cao Bang Land and People" includes a preface and 3 main parts: Overview of Cao Bang land and people; Cao Bang Land and People; Cao Bang - Destination - Connection and Development with 79 articles collected, researched and compiled by authors who are provincial leaders, scientists , professional staff, managers... inside and outside the province.

At the meeting, the appraisal council and members of the steering committee highly appreciated the process of focusing on building, researching, compiling, receiving comments and editing, and perfecting the book manuscript. The manuscript basically meets the requirements of layout, content, and images. The content of the articles is suitable and diverse, introducing and promoting the natural landscape, historical traditions, culture, land and people of Cao Bang, the potentials and strengths in socio -economic development and tourism of the locality. In addition, there are some details that need to be edited to ensure accurate information, and to choose characteristic, appropriate, and representative images.

Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department concluded the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Chairman of the Appraisal Council highly appreciated the comments contributed at the meeting, on that basis, agreed on the book's name and layout. The Editorial Board was requested to absorb, edit, and minimize errors, especially paying attention to the bases and accurate information to ensure the quality of the book; continue to coordinate to prepare for the printing and publishing stages of the book according to the set schedule.
