HoSE has 2 more investment indexes VN50 Growth and VNMITECH

Accordingly, the VN50 Growth Index, abbreviated as the VN50 Growth Index, includes 50 component stocks selected from the list of component stocks of the VNAllshare index and meeting the index screening criteria.

Specifically, stocks included in VN50 Growth must be in VNAllshare and meet a minimum free-float adjusted capitalization value (GTVH_f) of VND 2,000 billion and a minimum matched transaction value (GTGD_KL) of VND 20 billion/day.

From the list of stocks that satisfy the above conditions, the 50 stocks with the largest GTVH_f (higher GTGD_Volume is preferred when GTVH_f is equal) will be included in the official index basket. The next 10 stocks will be included in the reserve index basket.

The capitalization weight of stocks in the basket will be limited to a certain threshold: for individual stocks it is 10% and for groups of stocks in the same industry it is 40%.

VNMITECH Index is the Vietnam Modern Industrials & Technology Index, consisting of a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 50 stocks. The stocks are selected from the constituent list of the VNAllshare Materials (VNMAT), VNAllshare Industrials (VNIND), VNAllshare Information Technology (VNIT) sector indices and meet the index screening criteria.

Specifically, from the VNMAT, VNIND and VNIT index baskets determined at the most recent periodic review, step 1 will select stocks with a minimum trading_volume of VND 1,500 billion. From the above list, select stocks with a minimum trading_volume of VND 20 billion/day in step 2.

If there are more than 50 codes satisfying the conditions after Step 2, the 50 stocks with the largest GTVH_f (priority given to higher GTGD_Volume when GTVH_f is equal) will be included in the official index basket.

If there are 30 - 50 codes after Step 2, all the codes that satisfy will enter the official index basket.

If there are less than 30 codes, select all codes that satisfy the conditions after Step 2 and select additional codes with the largest GTVH_f (prioritize higher GTGD_Volume when GTVH_f is equal) from the list of stocks that satisfy the conditions after Step 1 until there are 30 codes in the official index basket.

Regarding capitalization ratio, the threshold of 15% is applied to individual stocks and 25% to groups of stocks selected from VNMAT, not applied in groups to stocks selected from VNIND and VNIT.

The base point of the two investment indices is 1,000. The list of component stocks will be reviewed periodically on the last trading day of December and June each year; Information will be updated quarterly on the last trading day of December, March, June and September with information such as free-float ratio, circulating volume, capitalization weight limit, growth/liquidity weight limit of stocks.

During the period from the data closing date to the effective date, the official index basket and the backup index basket will continue to be updated, excluding stocks that fall under warnings due to information disclosure violations, control, trading restrictions, trading suspension (except for trading suspension due to business events under 30 trading days), trading suspension, and delisted stocks.
