After thoroughly understanding the training content, the units quickly deployed their formations, conducted training on specialized technical and tactical content, team command training, AK submachine gun shooting, 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun shooting... For soldier Pham Quoc Hung (Platoon 3, Company 1, Battalion 1), despite having experienced the military environment, he still felt bewildered during the first days of returning to training. Talking to us, Hung confided: “Although I have not been in the military for long, when participating in training, I still encountered many difficulties such as hot weather and many new training contents. However, thanks to the commanders and teachers who always encouraged and guided me enthusiastically, I quickly grasped the content and caught up with the training intensity.”

To improve the quality of training for the reserve force, the Party Committee and Regiment 59 have led and directed the unit to focus on innovating training content and methods that are close to reality and suitable for each subject. When training, the unit properly implements the motto "basic, practical, effective", focusing on training from low to high, from simple to complex, balancing theory and practice; increasing the time for night training; organizing for soldiers to review thoroughly, dividing into many small exercises, rotating, changing exercises reasonably, helping officers and soldiers grasp the content, master technical movements, individual and squad tactics.

In addition, the unit actively organizes extracurricular activities to supplement training, sports, competitions and emulation movements to encourage and motivate officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties and strive for the highest results. At the same time, it strictly maintains a regular and disciplined regime and manages training and discipline. During the training process, commanders at all levels closely follow the unit and promptly resolve any problems that arise...

Lieutenant Colonel Ta Nhu Tung, Commander of Regiment 59, said: Determining that training reserve forces is an important task, the Party Committee and the Regiment's command have closely coordinated with the Military Command of My Duc district and the Military Command of Thanh Tri district to review, penetrate, and grasp the sources to ensure quality and quantity and be ready to mobilize when ordered. Before training, the unit did a good job of preparation such as consolidating and renewing hundreds of models and training tools; promoting the movement to promote initiatives and improve techniques. Along with that, the Regiment always pays attention to the material and spiritual life, and the regimes for reserve soldiers during the concentrated training period according to regulations; does a good job of management, discipline training, and maintains effective coordination with localities and families in mobilizing andeducating reserve soldiers to participate in training.

In the past time, 100% of the unit's training content met the requirements; of which, over 76% were good and excellent. This is an important basis to help the reserve force improve its combat readiness, meeting the requirements and tasks when there are situations.
