French and Vietnamese artists perform new musical works together

French Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Emmanuelle Pavillon – Grosser, expressed that the cooperative relationship between France and Vietnam has been constantly developing since the establishment of diplomatic relations. The areas of bilateral cooperation have grown stronger, especially when the two countries signed a strategic partnership in 2013, affirming the common determination of both sides to stand side by side, maintain and develop relations and exchanges in all fields and at all levels.

“Hue by Light - The Live Show” is the result of a collaboration between French and Vietnamese teams. The French team is in charge of the event’s artistic direction. The content and technical solutions are built together with partners in Vietnam in the spirit of working together and sharing expertise.

This is the result of more than a year of work from the AC3 Studio team, in both technical and creative fields, to create a light show on the architectural surface of Ngo Mon Gate - Hue Imperial City.

At the show, artists Sébastien Tellier and Limebócx performed new musical works: a blend of electronic music and traditional Vietnamese music, along with a light show (3D mapping) that "attracted" tens of thousands of audiences to immerse themselves in the enchanting sound and light show.

With a 300,000 lumens projector system, a complete technical diagram and a high-end sound system, “Hue by light - The live show” is built around the theme of “Four seasons”, the Art Nouveau movement combined with traditional Vietnamese lacquer art, minimalism with Dragon and Phoenix, or the Art Deco movement with iconic plants in Vietnamese culture.
