Hung Yen builds 3 key protection plans for dikes and embankments during storm and flood season

Through assessing the quality of dikes, embankments, and culverts before the 2025 storm and flood season, identifying key vulnerable locations on the left dike of the Red River and Luoc River, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control, and Search and Rescue has developed three key protection plans for the province.

Specifically, including: Lien Khe sluice (Khoai Chau), location K101+200, left dike of the Red River with a plan to protect the sluice when there is a high flood; Phu Hung Cuong embankment ( Hung Yen city) at corresponding locations K114+000-K121+500, left dike of the Red River with a plan to prevent landslides of the embankment and Phu Hung Cuong dike; plan to relocate people in the Phu Hung Cuong area, paying special attention to the area outside the dike; Trieu Duong pumping station sluice (Tien Lu) location K4+475, left dike of the Luoc River with a plan to protect the sluice when there is a high flood.
