Hung Yen launches Workers' Month 2025

*Giving nearly 2,600 gifts, worth nearly 3 billion VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances

On May 16, at the Provincial Information and Conference Center, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a ceremony to launch the Workers' Month and respond to the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025. Attending the launching ceremony were comrades: Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Le Xuan Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Quach Thi Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

The theme of Workers’ Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025 is: “Vietnamese Workers Take the Lead in Entering a New Era” and “Strengthening the assessment, identification of hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace”. This is an opportunity to honor and care for workers and enhance the assurance of a safe working environment, arousing the love of the profession, the spirit of dedication, innovation and social responsibility of each worker.

Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Dang Van Dien launched the Workers' Month and responded to the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor called on all workers, civil servants and employees of Hung Yen province to promote their intelligence, responsibility, innovation, creativity, constantly strive, voluntarily study to improve their academic qualifications and professional skills to adapt to the technological revolution, innovation and digital transformation; work with high discipline, better productivity and quality; actively participate in ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, contributing to the completion of the goals and tasks of the unit and enterprise, actively contributing to the completion of the socio -economic development task in 2025 and the following years, building Hung Yen homeland to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful and civilized.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu suggested: In the coming time, all levels of the Hung Yen provincial trade unions need to increase activities of visiting and giving gifts to union members, workers, and laborers in especially difficult circumstances, and those who have suffered work-related accidents; deploy activities of connecting, introducing, creating job opportunities, vocational training, ensuring sustainable employment and income for union members and laborers; conduct negotiations and dialogues with employers about jobs, salaries, bonuses, benefits, and working conditions; promote the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers"...

Enterprises proactively assess and identify risks in the workplace and strictly implement legal regulations on occupational safety and hygiene. Workers and employees strictly follow work procedures, focus on using labor protection equipment, etc.

At the launching ceremony, 5 outstanding collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; the Provincial Confederation of Labor Standing Committee presented nearly 2,600 gifts, with a total amount of nearly 3 billion VND to union members and workers in difficult and extremely difficult circumstances in the province.
