Application form

The preliminary application is made in accordance with Clause 1, Article 18 of Circular No. 31/2023/TT-BQP dated May 12, 2023 of the Minister of National Defense stipulating and guiding the implementation of military recruitment to military schools. Candidates register and complete the preliminary application at the Military Recruitment Board at the district, county, town, or provincial city level (collectively referred to as the District Military Recruitment Board) where the candidate registers for permanent residence before June 25, 2025. The Military Recruitment Board at the provincial and centrally-run city level (collectively referred to as the Provincial Military Recruitment Board) sends the application and list to the schools before June 30, 2025.

In case the candidate has completed the preliminary application and registered for the first admission, the Provincial Military Admissions Board will send the list of candidates registering for direct admission and priority admission to the school where the preliminary application was submitted.

Candidates who do not pass the preliminary selection and do not have a preliminary selection record at the schools will not be eligible for direct admission and will be given priority for admission to military colleges and universities in the Army.

Register for the admission combination during the preliminary selection

Candidates applying for direct admission under the provisions of Point b and Point c, Clause 4, Article 8 of the University Admission Regulations must register an admission combination among the admission combinations of the recruiting school in the preliminary admission file right from the preliminary admission, as a basis for admission consideration.

Register for direct admission

Candidates prepare 1 set of direct admission application documents and submit them to the District Military Admissions Board (along with the preliminary application documents) before June 25, 2025; the District Military Admissions Board and the Provincial Military Admissions Board will review and send the application documents and list of qualified candidates to the schools where candidates register for direct admission and priority admission before June 30, 2025.

- The profile of candidates eligible for direct admission according to the provisions in Clause 1 and Point a Clause 2 Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations includes:

+ Application form for direct admission (Appendix II) (please see at the end of the article) .

+ At least one valid copy of the certificate of winning the National Excellent Student Competition; certificate of winning the National Science and Technology Competition or certificate of other priority subjects for direct admission.

+ Two stamped envelopes with the candidate's full name, contact address and phone number clearly written on them.

- The profile of candidates eligible for direct admission according to the provisions in Point b and Point c, Clause 4, Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations includes:

+ Application form for direct admission (Appendix III) (please see at the end of the article) .

+ Valid copy of 3 years high school transcript.

+ Two stamped envelopes with the candidate's full name, contact address and phone number clearly written on them.

+ Confirmation of permanent residence and residence period from the District Military Recruitment Board.

+ Candidates who graduated from 2024 or earlier, submit 1 valid copy of High School Diploma and Certificate of High School Graduation Exam results in the year the candidate took the exam.

+ Candidates graduating in 2025, when having the results of the High School Graduation Exam, submit 1 valid copy of the Certificate of High School Graduation Exam Results to the school to register for direct admission before July 25, 2025.

Candidates eligible for direct admission according to the provisions of Clause 1 and Point a, Clause 2, Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations; after receiving the admission notice from the school, must submit the original certificate of winning the prize within the prescribed time (time is calculated according to the postmark if submitted by post using express mail) and must register their admission wishes (wish 1) on the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training within the prescribed time (if they wish to study).

Register for priority admission

Candidates registering for priority admission must register and take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam according to regulations; must submit priority admission application (along with preliminary application) to the District Military Admissions Board before June 25, 2025 and must register for admission to the school submitting the application according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; The District Military Admissions Board and the Provincial Military Admissions Board will review and send qualified applications to the schools where candidates register for priority admission before June 30, 2025. Priority admission application includes:

- Application form for priority admission (Appendix II).

- At least one valid copy of the Certificate of winning the National Excellent Student Competition; Certificate of winning the National Science and Technology Competition and certificates of other priority candidates for direct admission.
