The structure of the test and the way to answer the multiple-choice subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam are different from previous years, candidates should note.

The 2025 high school graduation exam for students following the 2018 generaleducation program includes two compulsory subjects: math and literature.

The remaining two subjects are chosen by candidates from among the remaining subjects: chemistry, physics, biology, geography, history, economic and legal education, information technology, technology and foreign languages.

Literature is tested in essay format. The remaining subjects are tested in multiple-choice format. The new point is that the content of the multiple-choice questions and answers will have many forms, not just choosing the correct answer like previous years.

For subjects that are multiple choice in the 2025 high school graduation exam, questions will be divided into 3 parts.

Part 1 consists of multiple choice questions, with 4 options to choose 1 correct answer. For each correct answer, the candidate gets 0.25 points.

Part 2 consists of multiple choice questions in true/false format. Each question has 4 options, for each option the candidate chooses true or false.

Candidates who choose only 1 correct answer in a question will get 0.1 point, choose 2 correct answers in a question will get 0.25 points, choose 3 correct answers in a question will get 0.5 points, choose all 4 correct answers in a question will get 1 point.

Part 3 consists of short answer questions, requiring candidates to choose the correct answer. For math, each correct answer is worth 0.5 points, for other subjects it is 0.25 points.

University and College Admission Choice Day 2025: Golden opportunity to "lock in" the right major, right school
