Career guidance for students with personalized model

Along with learning about careers, students can assess themselves in terms of personality, abilities, and development trends to better determine the appropriate career path.

Personalized career guidance is done by assessing students' personality, abilities, and development trends.

In career guidance, combining psychological analysis tools to support students in identifying their abilities, interests and career orientation can help high school students, especially grade 12 students, better identify and choose their future careers.

With a model that uses a combination of personality testing tools, neurolinguistic programming, etc. to comprehensively analyze the individual, researched and developed by expert Pham Thi Thu Ha, Director of Hai Dang Dinh Huong Company Limited, instead of just providing career information, the program focuses on helping students "understand themselves before choosing a career".

“Internal statistics show that over 60% of 12th graders who have participated in the program said they chose their major based on the advice of their relatives, without clearly understanding whether that career is suitable for them or not. We built this program with the hope that each student can determine the direction that is suitable for themselves, both in terms of ability and long-term life goals,” said Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha.

Each participating student will go through a process of self -discovery , then be advised by a team of experts including psychologists, career guidance experts, etc. The analysis results help students understand: Personal personality; Life value system and intrinsic motivation; Potential personal development trends.

After the assessment, students will have a personalized learning and career path built, and have the opportunity to participate in real-life experience sharing sessions with seniors in each profession.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha, the program has been piloted at a number of high schools in Hanoi, Phu Tho, and Ninh Binh with more than 3,000 students participating. In the coming time, the program development unit will coordinate with high schools,education centers, and parent associations to expand the model to many provinces and cities, and organize free career orientation seminars to raise social awareness about the importance of personalized career guidance.
