Responding to the call, AmCham HCMC volunteers donated 658 units of blood.

Responding to World Blood Donor Day and the call of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham) Ho Chi Minh City office recently organized the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Day.

During the two-day event (August 14 and 22), 720 volunteers from AmCham member units donated 164,450ml (equivalent to 658 units of blood), an increase of 60% compared to 2024.

Since its inception in 2011, AmCham Blood Donation Day has united members, partners, and the public in a shared mission to increase Vietnam’s blood supply. Over the past 14 years, more than 9,120 blood donors have donated nearly 11,358 units of blood.
