Mobilizing forces to search for missing victims in Phin Chai 2 village, A Lu commune.

Previously, at around 2:30 a.m. on September 9, in Phin Chai 2 village, A Lu commune, Bat Xat district, a landslide occurred, burying 4 households, leaving 7 people missing.

As of yesterday afternoon, September 12, local forces and people have found the bodies of 6/7 missing victims. 15 officers and soldiers of Bat Xat district's regular army continued to move about 50 km from Nam Chac commune to the scene to participate in rescue work.

Taking advantage of the clear weather, the authorities of Bat Xat district are making efforts to search for the remaining missing victims. At the same time, they are supporting affected households to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and soon stabilize their lives.
