Cat Hai district is determined to implement the budget collection task from the first day and month of 2024.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Cat Hai District People's Committee has just held a conference to review the financial and budget work in 2023; deploy the implementation of the Resolution of the District Party Executive Committee, the Resolution of the District People's Council on socio-economic development tasks, and the budget estimate for 2024.

In 2023, closely following the budget assigned by the City People's Committee and the District People's Council, the District People's Committee has directed branches and units based on their assigned functions and tasks to review all revenue sources, urge timely payment to the budget; develop plans and collection roadmaps for each content by month and quarter; strengthen management of revenue sources in the area (especially non-state revenue and sightseeing fees), implement plans to prevent revenue loss and tax arrears; speed up site clearance, land allocation, land lease and land use fee collection for resettlement projects, land auctions. At the same time, well implement legal policies to provide maximum support for businesses and people to recover and develop the economy . As a result, the State budget balance in the area reached 408 billion 176 million VND, reaching 142% of the city's assigned estimate; 123% of the district People's Council's assigned estimate, up 30% over the same period. District budget expenditure in 2023 across the district reached 500 billion 843 million VND, reaching 110% of the estimate assigned by the District People's Council.

In 2024, Cat Hai district estimates a balanced budget revenue of 370 billion 540 million VND, an increase of 11% compared to the estimated implementation in 2023. Accordingly, strictly implement the solutions of the Central and the City on stabilizing the macro economy; remove difficulties and obstacles, encourage and create all favorable conditions for businesses to stabilize, develop production and business, improve competitiveness, create a premise for developing stable and solid revenue sources for the state budget; regularly check and control tax declaration and tax settlement to collect correctly and fully; review all revenue sources, urge timely payment to the state budget from the first days of 2024. In addition, maintain and improve the quality of electronic tax declaration, electronic tax payment, shorten the time to complete tax administrative procedures; Deploy information technology application in guest management, restaurant and hotel management closely linked with information to collect budget.
