On April 6, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee worked with the Dan Phuong District Party Committee on the results of implementing tasks in 2022, the first quarter of 2023; key tasks in the coming time and the construction progress of Ring Road 4 - Capital Region.

Reporting at the meeting, Secretary of Dan Phuong District Party Committee Tran Duc Hai said that regarding socio -economic development, the district directed the implementation of solutions to restore and develop the socio-economy after the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the land acquisition and resettlement work of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region investment project, the total land area recovered for project implementation in the district is 74.8 hectares.

Up to now, the district has issued 802 decisions to reclaim agricultural land of 802 households with an area of 25.35/39.84ha (reaching a rate of 63.62%). The total number of graves that must be moved to implement the project is 1,678 and up to now, 468/1,678 graves have been moved (reaching a rate of 28.96%).

At the meeting, Dan Phuong district made more than 10 recommendations to the City related to planning, environment, and creating investment sources to develop the district into a district.

Notably, the district proposed that the City update the planning of the Inland Waterway Port combined with the Tourist Port of Trung Chau commune with an area of 50 hectares. Adjust and supplement the function of commercial and service land of 10 hectares in the planning of the Multi-functional Park of Tan Hoi commune; Supplement the entire area of land in the area west of Hong Ha bridge to develop trade, services, ecological urban areas, high-tech agriculture; Early allocation of land for urban projects (Green City urban functional area; New Style City new lifestyle urban area) to create resources for the district to develop...

The district also proposed the City to approve policies for 3 urban area projects, with a total area of over 370 hectares; to soon approve the Tay Thang Long road project from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai canal and to allow the establishment of investment policies for the section from Dan Hoai canal to La Thach dike...

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung said that Dan Phuong has implemented quite comprehensively and achieved positive results in Party building and political system building, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building new rural areas...

However, according to Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung, the district's budget revenue in the first 3 months of 2023 was low; 9 targets for building the district into a district have not been met; commercial and service infrastructure and traffic density are also lacking, not meeting development requirements; per capita income is still low; the district's administrative reform has not met requirements...

These are difficulties and challenges that require the district to think and perceive more; on that basis, it is necessary to clearly point out the potential and advantages of the district, ways to exploit and promote them in local development, so that the district can have a breakthrough and sustainable development, the overarching goal is to improve people's income and life, the Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested.

Directing key tasks in the coming time, the Secretary of the City Party Committee especially requested Dan Phuong district to promote administrative reform, improve the investment and business environment to attract investment, and unlock resources for the district's development.

In addition, it is necessary to prioritize investment in the three areas of health, culture, and education. Strengthen land management, planning, and construction order management. Pay attention to and take care of ensuring social security in the area.
