Dien Bien district launches Tet tree planting festival

Provincial leaders and delegates planted trees at the launching ceremony.

This is an activity in response to the Program to plant 1 billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025 "For a green Vietnam" . Dien Bien district identifies tree planting as a very important task, closely linked to the comprehensive development process of the district, not only for today but also for future generations.

Immediately after the launching ceremony of “Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho”, comrade Lo Van Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; comrade Lo Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders of Dien Bien district and cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people organized the planting of Bauhinia and Sao dennis trees on the Ring Road 2 in the area of ​​Team 17, Thanh Xuong commune. This is the beginning of the tree planting and forest planting movement in the district in general and for the socialization of care, protection and development of Bauhinia trees in particular; contributing to ensuring a green - clean - beautiful environment .
