Tu Ky District Youth Union provides free medical examinations for meritorious people and policy families

People with merit in Tan Ky commune come to get free medical examination

On March 27, Tu Ky District Youth Union coordinated with the District Health Center to organize a voluntary medical examination and free medicine distribution program for 50 meritorious people and policy beneficiaries in Tan Ky commune. This is the third voluntary medical examination program in Youth Month this year implemented by the District Youth Union.

Previously, the program took place in Hung Dao and Ky Son communes.

At the program, young doctors and nurses from the District Health Center directly examined and provided health consultations on specialties; prescribed paraclinical tests, measured blood pressure, performed general abdominal ultrasounds, and provided free medicine... to the people. The elderly and those with underlying diseases were also given specific instructions by doctors on appropriate nutrition and treatment methods.

In Ky Son commune, with the cooperation of Doanh My One Member Co., Ltd., more than 50 meritorious people, policy families and former youth volunteers in the commune were also tested for diabetes for free and received gifts including eggs, medicine and functional foods.

People who come to see a doctor are given free medicine and instructions on how to use it.

As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , Tu Ky District Youth Union also coordinated to present clean water projects to 4 families in difficult circumstances who were supported to remove temporary and dilapidated houses in Tan Ky, Quang Khai, Lac Phuong and Ha Thanh communes. Each project is worth 5 million VND.
