Loc Ha district consults voters on district merger

This morning, September 21, under the direction and supervision of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Home Affairs, Loc Ha district simultaneously held a vote to collect voters' opinions on the merger of district-level administrative units in the entire district.

Through the form of collecting voters' opinions by distributing "Voter Opinion Forms" to more than 23,000 households, the entire Loc Ha district has 52,482 voters who will participate in voting at 92 polling stations in 12 communes and towns.

The voting process took place publicly, democratically and in accordance with the law, creating consensus and high determination of the entire political system and all classes of people in the district, in properly implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and State.

To suit the reality and development trends of the country, ensure the perfection of institutions on administrative units, the apparatus of the political system is streamlined, operating effectively and efficiently.

Loc Ha residents highly agree with the voter consultation on district merger

And according to the Project on arranging administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2023 - 2025 of Ha Tinh province, in the near future, the entire natural area and population of Loc Ha district will be merged into Ha Tinh city and Thach Ha district.

Specifically: the entire natural area and population of Ho Do commune will be merged into Ha Tinh city; the entire natural area and population of the remaining 11 localities including Loc Ha town, Thach Kim, Thach Chau, Thach My, Mai Phu, Thinh Loc, Binh An, Tan Loc, Hong Loc, Phu Luu, Ich Hau, will be merged into Thach Ha district.
