Mrs. Pham Thi Bong, Nghiem Xa village, a member of the Commune Veterans Association, is in particularly difficult circumstances. She is often sick, raising her children alone, and does not have enough money to build a house herself. Faced with such circumstances, the Commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Commune People's Committee proposed, and the Thuong Tin District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agreed to support the construction of a Great Unity house for Mrs. Pham Thi Bong's family.
On November 25, 2024, her family started building the house and received the attention and support of the Party Committee, the government, the Commune Front, relatives and neighbors. Currently, the Great Solidarity House of Mrs. Pham Thi Bong's family has been basically completed, ensuring quality, with an area of 60m2; the total estimated cost is more than 450 million VND. Of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district supported 50 million VND.

According to Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuong Tin District Nguyen Tuan Dung, implementing the program of building Great Unity houses, from the beginning of 2024 until now, the district has built 134 houses. Of which, 54 houses received support from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
Over the past years, Thuong Tin district has mobilized from many socialized sources, the “For the Poor” Fund to build and repair houses, following the “rolling” principle. Households in need of housing, after being surveyed by all levels, will receive support from the district for construction costs.
At the ceremony, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong presented a refrigerator to the family, congratulating Ms. Pham Thi Bong on having a new, spacious house. On this occasion, leaders of Nghiem Xuyen commune and Nghiem Xa village also presented Ms. Pham Thi Bong's family with many meaningful gifts.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Bong thanked the attention and support, both material and spiritual, from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, district leaders, and local authorities and emotionally said that she will strive to escape poverty sustainably.
