On November 19, Mr. Huynh Tan Chau - Principal of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted ( Phu Yen ), said that the school gave gifts to 950 students, each with 50,000 VND to celebrate November 20. The above amount comes from socialized sources and support from former students.

According to Mr. Chau, the above amount of money was transferred to each class by Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted. After receiving the money, the students held a party with their teachers on November 28. Upon receiving the gift from the school, the students were very surprised.
A 10th grade chemistry major female student shared that this was the first time she received money from the school to celebrate with her teachers on this day, so she bought candy and milk tea to celebrate together. "This action makes me love the school I am attending even more," the female student expressed.
Mr. Chau informed that every time Vietnamese Teachers' Day comes around on November 20, many parents and students always think of giving gifts to teachers as a way of showing gratitude. This creates invisible pressure on families in difficult circumstances.

As someone with many years of experience in theeducation sector and in a management role, Mr. Chau and his colleagues do not expect to receive gifts on these days. For them, good and studious students are the greatest gift. In addition, he believes that on this day, the school should also take practical actions to share joy with the children.
Therefore, last year, the school came up with the idea of giving gifts to students. Based on the above idea, the school leaders discussed it many times with the board of directors and everyone agreed. After reaching an agreement, the school decided to take a portion from the socialized fund to give each student 50,000 VND.
In addition to giving gifts to students, on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20 this year, Luong Van Chanh Specialized School also awarded scholarships to 51 students who were selected to compete in the national excellent student competition, each worth 2 million VND.
Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted has a history of nearly 80 years, and is a place that has trained many excellent students in Phu Yen province. Here, students with difficult circumstances are exempted from tuition fees and supported to pay insurance from socialized funds.
