According to 9to5Mac , Adaptive Audio mode on iOS 18 will allow users to adjust the desired level of noise cancellation. With two new options, 'Remove More Noise' and 'Remove Less Noise', users can easily adjust the sound to suit their surroundings, from a quiet office to a bustling home space.
However, this feature is exclusive to AirPods Pro 2, due to the H2 chip requirement. Older AirPods Pro models will not be supported. In addition, iOS 18 also brings many other improvements to AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max models, such as personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, better support for gaming, and improved call quality.
iOS 18 is expected to officially launch in September, at the same time as the iPhone 16 series. AirPods Pro 2 users can expect a better audio experience with flexible noise cancellation customization.
