In addition, the Israeli Defense Minister also declared a nationwide state of emergency, warning of the possibility that Iran would soon respond with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

In addition, from dawn on June 13 (local time), Israel banned all gatherings, studying and working activities, except for essential establishments.

*The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its military has begun launching strikes against dozens of Iranian nuclear facilities in a move to stop the Islamic State's nuclear program.

The targets attacked by the IDF included command posts, military bases and especially nuclear facilities, which were the main focus of the operation. The IDF said that in the first 20 minutes of the operation, the attacks surprised Iran by targeting unexpected locations.

At the same time, sirens were sounded across Israel to warn citizens to prepare for a possible ballistic missile attack by Iran, which has thousands of missiles ready to use.

The IDF believes Iran has stockpiled enough weapons-grade uranium to build up to 15 nuclear warheads within days. Israel accuses Iran of planning a coordinated attack on Israel with regional forces such as Hezbollah, Hamas and other armed groups. The plan could include attacks from multiple directions, including the borders with Egypt and Jordan.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has convened the security cabinet to direct the emergency situation.
