Korean horror but funny movie.

“Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman” (English title “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman”) is a horror and comedy film based on the webtoon “Possessed”, directed by Kim Seong-sik - who participated in the assistant director for famous films such as “Parasite”, “Breaking Up”, “Demons Confrontation”...

The film centers on Dr. Cheon (played by Gang Dong-won) - a fake exorcist who does not believe in the existence of ghosts. With his eloquence and top-notch “psychological manipulation” skills, along with realistic spiritual effects, Dr. Cheon and his partner In-bae (played by Lee Dong-hwi) have successfully fooled many customers across the country into “booking” exorcism services.

Dr. Cheon's growing popularity has led Yoo-kyung (Esom), a female client with yin-yang eyes, to seek him out to save her endangered sister for a large sum of money. From here, Dr. Cheon must face a brutal evil spirit that can possess human bodies and hunt for spiritual energy. How will the confrontation between the fake exorcist and the real demon unfold?

The main actor in the film is actor Gang Dong-won - who is known as the "living saint" of Korean cinema with his ability to transform into many diverse roles. In addition to "The Broker", this actor also had success with "Peninsula", "Violent Prosecutor"...

Talking about actor Gang Dong-won, director Kim Seong-sik said, "living saint" Gang Dong-won is an actor who satisfies everything from the audience's imagination in the original webtoon (online comic) to his realistic and satisfying acting, promising to bring the audience a real experience when accompanying the character.

The film also features the participation of the beloved actor in the film "Reply 1988" Lee Dong-hwi, and familiar faces of Korean screens such as Esom, Kim Jong-soo...

In particular, the film features Jisoo - a member of the famous girl group BlackPink, in a special guest role. The female singer transforms into a traditional Korean fairy with pure and charming beauty. Director Kim Seong-sik shared: "I was looking for an actress who fits the image of a fairy and I thought of Jisoo after watching the movie "Snowdrop" in which she played a role."

The movie “The Exorcist Sword” is released by CJ HK Entertainment and is scheduled to be shown in theaters in Vietnam from October 6.
