Kbang: Ms. Hoang Thi Hang won first prize in the excellent reporter contest of the Youth Union | Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper

(GLO)- On May 22, the District Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of Kbang district organized the final round of the contest for excellent reporters and propagandists of the district-level Youth Union.

The contest was attended by 15 candidates who are Youth Union officials and members from 11 grassroots Youth Union organizations in the area. These candidates have passed the preliminary round with the topic development and video clip creation summarizing the topic content.

In this final round, the contestants continued to go through the presentation and answer supplementary questions to learn about the Resolutions of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels through the periods.

With careful preparation of content and public speaking skills, many meaningful topics were presented fluently and impressively by the contestants. Thereby, the contestants proposed many solutions related to the work of the Youth Union and the current youth movement. Typical examples include improving the quality of activities of the Youth Union branches in schools and residential areas; improving the quality of propaganda of the Resolution of the Youth Union Congresses at all levels; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style among today's youth; the role and responsibility of youth union members in participating in digital transformation...

As a result, with the topic "Reading culture among today's youth, current situation and solutions", Ms. Hoang Thi Hang - member of the Youth Union of Culture and Information won first prize. The organizing committee also awarded 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes to 9 contestants with excellent performances. 15/15 contestants were awarded the certificate of "Excellent reporter at district level in 2023" by the organizing committee.

The competition for excellent reporters and propagandists of the district-level Youth Union is an opportunity for the Youth Union cadres and youth union members in Kbang district to exchange and improve their presentation skills, and equip themselves with basic knowledge and skills to meet the propaganda tasks in the Youth Union and youth movement in the coming time.
