On the afternoon of May 9, a working delegation led by Mr. Doan Huu Dung - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Pleiku City visited and congratulated the Buddha's Birthday 2569 at Buu Hai Pagoda (Ia Kring Ward), Minh Thanh Pagoda (Hoi Phu Ward) and Van Phat Pagoda (Hoa Lu Ward).
At the destinations, Chairman of the Pleiku City People's Committee Doan Huu Dung sent his congratulations to the monks, nuns and Buddhists for a happy, warm and spiritual Buddha's birthday. The Chairman of the City People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of Buddhist establishments in social security work, preserving traditional culture, maintaining ethics and a healthy lifestyle in the community; at the same time, affirmed the positive role of Buddhism in accompanying the city government in building a cultural life, contributing to the sustainable development of the locality.
Representatives of Buddhist establishments expressed their respect and deep gratitude for the attention of the city's leaders; at the same time, affirmed that they will continue to promote the positive role of Buddhism in social life, joining hands with the government and people to build an increasingly strong national solidarity bloc.
*On the occasion of Buddha's Birthday in 2025, Buddhist calendar 2,569, leaders of Chu Pah district visited and presented gifts to pagodas and monasteries in the area.
At the places visited, district leaders sent their best wishes for a peaceful and happy Buddha's Birthday; and at the same time acknowledged the positive contributions of Buddhist dignitaries and followers in building cultural life and socio -economic development in the locality.
The district leaders hope that Buddhist establishments will continue to accompany the government, well implement the motto "Buddhism - Nation - Socialism", actively mobilize Buddhists to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; participate in patriotic emulation movements, charity activities, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
Representatives of Buddhist establishments also thanked the district leaders for their attention, affirming that they will continue to promote the spirit of "living a good life, following good religion", contributing to building Chu Pah district to become more and more developed and civilized.
