Extending Hoan Kiem Lake walking street activities on National Day September 2

According to the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi), on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), to serve the people, tourists and increase the attractiveness of tourism in the capital, the activities of walking spaces in the area will be extended from August 30 to September 3.

Specifically, the walking space around Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounding areas is from 7:00 p.m. on August 30 (Friday) to 12:00 p.m. on September 3.

Walking streets in the old quarter from 19:00 to 24:00 every day from August 30 (Friday) to September 3 (Tuesday).

Along with that, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District requested the departments, offices, units under the district, Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company and the People's Committees of the wards to proactively coordinate and well implement the assigned tasks, ensuring urban security and order, traffic safety and order, environmental sanitation, urban beauty; ensuring regulations on fire prevention and fighting, safety for people and tourists.

The walking space around Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounding areas, the walking street in Hanoi's Old Quarter is always an attractive destination for many people and tourists to have fun and relax on weekends.

The walking space around Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounding areas alone has an average of 15,000 to 20,000 people coming to have fun every night.

This year, during the National Day holiday on September 2, people will have 4 days off, and the number of visitors is expected to increase. Therefore, Hoan Kiem district is preparing all resources to serve the entertainment needs of residents and tourists.
