Over the past several months, social media users in Australia have repeatedly encountered a series of videos that begin with the familiar phrase: "Hello, I'm Jason from Australia," News Au reported.
The main character is Jason Harrigan, 57 years old, living in Gold Coast city (Australia). He became famous after undergoing a series of cosmetic interventions at an international facility in Hanoi , including facelift, upper and lower eyelid surgery and neck lift.
For 20 years, Jason was so self-conscious about his appearance that he was afraid to take photos with his family. After watching a doctor's video on TikTok, he spent months researching and finally decided to take the plunge.

The man said he decided to go abroad for simple surgery because he "couldn't afford it" in Australia.
When comparing treatment prices, he was shocked to see that the cost of a facelift in Australia was about 37,000 AUD, while in Vietnam the entire treatment package was only about 4,000 AUD, almost 1/10 cheaper, according to Daily Mail.
Despite admitting he was worried about traveling abroad alone, Jason still decided to fly to Hanoi in August.
He paid $4,000 and opted for the seven-hour operation while awake. Once he arrived, the team removed nearly 6.5cm of excess skin from his forehead, addressed drooping eyelids and eye bags, and tightened his face and neck muscles.
"I didn't feel any pain. I just remember the interpreter saying the doctor said my forehead was too big for my face," he said.
Immediately after the surgery, the doctor asked Jason to film a promotional video. The man thought no one would watch so he agreed, but unexpectedly the video got millions of views in just a few days.

Over the next week, Jason returned to the clinic multiple times a day for follow-up appointments with different doctors on different parts of his face. Each time, he was asked to film new videos, which flooded the internet.
"I used to be teased about my appearance, always thought I was ugly. This surgery is a gift I give to myself," he said.
However, he admitted that the moment he saw his swollen face after surgery, he exclaimed: "What the hell did I just do?".
After three months of recovery, Jason said he was completely satisfied. The facial recognition feature on his iPhone no longer even recognized him.
To date, Jason's videos have had nearly 80 million views. He was recently spotted shopping at a supermarket.
"I used to be quite shy, but now I'm actually much happier. If anyone is thinking about having surgery, I just want to say do it for yourself," he said.
