Opening of the Party Awareness and Political Theory Training Class for New Party Members in 2025

On November 12, 2025, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) held the Opening Ceremony of the Party Awareness Training Class and the Political Theory Training Class for new Party members in 2025. This is a meaningful activity in the working program of the Party Committee of the MOST to improve the quality of political and ideological education for outstanding cadres, party members and the masses, contributing to building a clean and strong MOST Party Committee.

Attending the opening ceremony were 106 students of the Party Awareness Training Class and 84 students of the Political Theory Training Class for new Party members, from Party cells under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology .

Overview of the Ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Tran Thi Nhi Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, emphasized that the work of political theory education, fostering awareness of the Party and training new Party members is a task of special importance in Party building work. The organization of classes demonstrates the serious spirit in implementing the regulations on the Party's political theory study regime, according to Instruction No. 01-HD/TW dated September 28, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat and Instruction No. 60-HD/BTGTW dated June 16, 2022 of the Central Propaganda Department.

At the course, students will be equipped with a system of basic and in-depth knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party Platform and Statutes, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws, thereby strengthening political mettle, training moral qualities, and sense of organization and discipline - important foundations to strive to become pioneering and exemplary members of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Comrade Tran Thi Nhi Thuy pointed out that, in the context of the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation being identified as the top important breakthroughs, the role of cadres and party members in the science and technology sector has become more important than ever. Raising awareness and political theory for cadres and party members in the sector is to contribute to building a solid ideological foundation for the country's development in the new period. Therefore, students should uphold their sense of responsibility, study seriously, comply with classroom regulations; actively exchange and discuss, link theory with professional practice; self-study and research to improve their ability to apply Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought to real life. At the same time, they should clearly identify their pure and correct motivations for joining the Party, considering it a great honor as well as a responsibility to the Party and to the development of the science and technology sector.

For the team of lecturers and reporters, comrade Tran Thi Nhi Thuy suggested promoting the sense of responsibility, conveying theoretical knowledge using easy-to-understand and easy-to-apply methods, linking theory with practical development of science and technology in the new context. Along with that, the Classroom Management Board needs to ensure discipline, order and maximum support for teaching and learning, creating favorable conditions for the class to achieve the highest efficiency.

According to comrade Tran Thi Nhi Thuy, the success of the class will be a favorable premise for the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology to continue to effectively implement the work of fostering awareness of the Party, ensuring the implementation of the Party development targets set by the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, term 2025-2030, contributing to building the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology in particular, and the entire Party in general, increasingly strong and comprehensive, affirming the Party's leadership role for the country, consolidating the people's trust in the Party.

Disseminating the content and regulations of the class, comrade Le Vu Tien, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, said that according to the plan, the Party Awareness Training Class will take place in 5 days (from November 12 to 16, 2025) with 5 key topics, including: Overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Platform for national construction in the transition period to socialism; Basic content of the Party Charter; Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The political theory training course for new party members takes place over 7 days (from November 12 to 18, 2025) with 10 main topics according to the program of the Central Propaganda Department, equipping students with a system of basic knowledge on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's development guidelines, the Party's organizational and operational principles; at the same time, linking theory with the practice of economic, social, cultural, national defense, security and international integration development, helping students to train their political mettle and strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Through the course, the students, who are elite masses and probationary party members, will have their awareness strengthened, revolutionary ideals nurtured, political qualities and sense of responsibility enhanced, creating a solid foundation to strive to become official party members, contributing to building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology and excellently completing all assigned tasks.

The opening ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and determination to study and practice of the students - the future political nuclei, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new period.
