At exactly 7 o'clock, the spring festival ceremony at Huong Tra village communal house (a provincial-level historical and cultural relic) was solemnly held.
Leaders of Tam Ky City, Hoa Huong ward, and elderly men from Huong Tra village offered incense and paid respects to their ancestors.
Revived and organized in recent years, this ceremony aims to evoke pride and show respect for the ancestors who contributed to the founding of Huong Tra village. Through this, it gradually elevates the festival, meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of the local people and educating the younger generation about the tradition of remembering one's roots.
Immediately after the ceremony concludes, the Huong Tra Village Festival begins with a number of traditional activities and folk games, creating a lively playground for local people and serving tourists who come to visit and experience the area, such as demonstrations of traditional crafts like making banh tet, banh chung, banh trang, banh xeo, and Hong Lu blacksmithing. In addition, the Olympic Run " Discover Huong Tra" will also be held on April 13th.
This is one of the activities aimed at promoting the image of Huong Tra Eco- tourism Village, which has recently been recognized as a tourist destination by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Huong Tra Village Festival is also the opening event in the "Tam Ky - Sưa Flower Season 2025" festival program.
With the theme "Brilliant Golden Blossoms," the opening ceremony of the "Tam Ky - Sưa Blossom Season 2025" Festival will take place tomorrow evening, April 11th.
