On the morning of April 10, at Factory Z121 (Phu Ho commune, Phu Tho town, Phu Tho province), the General Department of Defense Industry and the General Department of Politics organized the 7th Contest for Excellent Preschool Teachers in the Army in 2024. Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics attended, directed and opened the Contest.
Attending the opening ceremony of the contest were representatives of the Department of Preschool Education, Ministry of Education and Training; Major General Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry; Major General Nguyen Son Ha, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 2; Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Military Women's Committee, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee; representatives of functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense , General Department of Politics; representatives of the leaders of the National Defense Trade Union Committee, the Military Youth Committee; Political Department, units under the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and 38 contestants representing nearly 1,300 management staff and preschool teachers in the Army.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, affirmed: For many years, preschooleducation in the Army has been in order, the quality of care and education for children has been improved, the team of managers and teachers have done a good job of propagating socialization of education, preschools in the Army have always received the trust of parents and people in the area, contributing to the education and training cause of the country.
According to Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, in order to continuously improve the quality of preschool education in the Army, create conditions for teachers to exchange, learn, compete, reveal and maximize their potential, creativity and pedagogical capacity, the General Department of Politics periodically organizes the Army-wide Contest for Excellent Preschool Teachers every three years. This is an activity of profound practical significance to evaluate the quality and comprehensive capacity of the team of preschool managers and teachers in the entire Army; at the same time, it motivates preschool managers and teachers to continue to strive, practice, and improve their professional skills to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The purpose of the Competition is not to find out the high or low rankings, but more importantly, through that, leaders, unit commanders, and functional agencies accurately assess the teaching quality of preschool teachers in the Army, as a basis for developing training and fostering plans to improve the qualifications and capacity of preschool teachers in the new period; continue to research and identify effective measures in implementing Conclusion No. 51 dated May 30, 2019 of the Secretariat on continuing to implement Resolution No. 8 of the 11th Central Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration; Resolution No. 1657, dated December 20, 2022 of the Central Military Commission on innovation in education and training, meeting the requirements of the task of building the Army in the new situation associated with the implementation of the Project "Building a team of teachers and educational managers in the Army for the period 2023 - 2030 and the following years"; at the same time, implementing the preschool education program issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Regulations on preschool education in the Army ensure absolute safety in terms of physical and mental health and quality of care, nurturing and education of children.
In order for the contest to have good quality and achieve the set goals and requirements, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh requested the Organizing Committee of the contest to be serious, objective, honest, safe and economical; the Jury to be impartial, objective, and accurately evaluate the results of each contestant participating in the contest; agencies and units to pay attention and create the best material and spiritual conditions for the contestants of their agencies and units; contestants need to strictly implement the contest regulations, focus their intelligence, be calm, confident, creative, and complete the contest content well with the spirit of solidarity, exchange, learning, and progress together.
Participating in the contest, each contestant will perform 4 parts: Practical educational activities, knowledge, talent and experience initiatives. The contest will be held from April 9-12, 2024. Immediately after the opening of the contest, the contestants will enter the talent competition.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 9, the knowledge competition was held. On April 11, 2024, the candidates will take the practical education exam. On the afternoon of April 12, 2024, the Organizing Committee will close the competition, announce the results, award the collectives and individuals with achievements and perform some excellent talent competition performances./.
