On June 28th, VinUniversity (VinUni) held its graduation ceremony for the second cohort (2021-2025), graduating nearly 150 students.

With the theme "Legacy from a Resilient Generation," the graduation ceremony not only honored the outstanding academic achievements of the graduates but also recognized the perseverance and resilience of a generation of students who matured amidst unprecedented social distancing in the history of global education .
The second cohort of students (from three training institutes: Health Sciences , Engineering, Computer Science, and Business Administration) began their university journey with online classes, but instead of slowing down, they proactively moved forward with unwavering determination and a desire to conquer knowledge, creating a proud mark.

Specifically, after four years of training, even before graduation, 55% of students were recruited by multinational corporations and large businesses such as Google, Qualcomm, BCG, Unilever, P&G, VinRobotics, etc. Many graduates began their careers in high-potential positions such as Management Trainee, Product Development Manager, etc.
26% of students are accepted into master's/doctoral programs at prestigious global universities, nearly 50% of which are Top 20 universities such as Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, UC Berkeley (USA), NUS and NTU (Singapore).

Nine outstanding students received direct offers of admission to PhD programs with full scholarships from prestigious universities such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the University of Texas, Dallas. Many of these students are authors/co-authors of high-quality papers on generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, behavioral monitoring, and distributed learning, presented at leading A* conferences on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning such as ICML, ICLR, and IJCAI.

Professor Vu Ha Van, Director of Science at VinBigData, Professor of Mathematics at Yale University, and member of the VinUni School Board, delivered a speech at the ceremony.
Notably, one graduate received a contract to work and conduct research in software engineering at Google, USA, with a salary of up to $200,000 per year. Just before graduation, Nguyen Thu Ha Anh (a student from the Institute of Business Administration) received an offer to join the 2+2 MBA program at Harvard Business School (part of Harvard University), which involves two years of work experience followed by two years of MBA studies.
Many students are boldly starting businesses in the fields of educational technology, healthcare , and new materials. Notably, Tran Dinh Le Hoang (Institute of Business Administration) successfully raised 1.3 billion VND from VFS Global for his startup Dynapath, which focuses on new materials and renewable energy, developing a "electric brick" solution that transforms plastic waste into special floor tiles capable of generating electricity with every step.
Professor Soumitra Dutta, Dean of the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a member of the VinUni Advisory Board, stated that the new graduates are pioneers, ready to shape the future with their intellect, commitment, and innovative spirit.
Professor Vu Ha Van, Director of Science at VinBigData, Professor of Mathematics at Yale University, and a member of the VinUni School Board, also emphasized: "Success is not only measured by fame or wealth; true success is when you make a difference and uplift others on their own journey to success. These qualities will be the solid foundation for you to create lasting value for society."
