After 8 times of organization, the An Giang Province Open Music Group Festival has left many emotions and good impressions in the hearts of music groups, actors, musicians and the masses. The festival has created a new and attractive feature for the cultural and artistic movement in the province, encouraging the passion for playing music of musicians when having a useful playground; the festival has spread and created positive support from a number of provinces in the Mekong Delta region.

Continuing the success of the festival in previous years, the organizing committee invited music groups from the provinces and cities of Ben Tre, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Hau Giang and Can Tho to perform and interact with the music group of the An Giang Provincial Cultural and Artistic Center. This is a good opportunity for musicians in the province to exchange and share experiences, expand relationships with music groups outside the locality. Thereby, contributing to orienting, consolidating and improving the quality and effectiveness of young music groups in the province, creating resources to inherit and promote so that localities have young music groups performing for the masses.

The 9th An Giang Province Open Band Festival 2025 will take place on 2 nights, May 12 and 13, 2025. After the opening ceremony, there will be performances by 4 units: An Giang, Can Tho, Ca Mau and Hau Giang. On the evening of May 13, at 7:00 p.m., on the same stage, there will be performances by bands from Ben Tre, Vinh Long and Tien Giang provinces.
