Party Congress of Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station

During the past term, the Party Committee of Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station proactively advised superiors and localities on many policies and solutions to lead the tasks of building, managing and protecting the border. Synchronously implementing border protection measures, organizing management, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty , national border security, preventing and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic; effectively fighting and preventing all types of crimes.

In particular, successfully participated in fighting 2 special projects, confiscating 12kg of gold, worth 26.2 billion VND; 370kg of firecrackers, worth about 108 million VND; arrested and handled 5 cases, 4 criminals of illegal trading, transporting, and storing of drugs, confiscating 909g of Methamphetamine, 18.1kg of dried marijuana; arrested and handled 343 cases, 81 subjects of smuggling, commercial fraud, goods worth about 2.1 billion VND...

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Tran Quoc Khanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station Party Committee in the past term. At the same time, he requested that in the coming term, the unit needs to have drastic, synchronous, focused, and breakthrough leadership policies and measures. Focus on building a strong Party Committee associated with building a comprehensively strong "Exemplary, exemplary" unit; overcome weaknesses and weak points, create new changes in all aspects of work, and successfully complete all assigned tasks. Proactively grasp, analyze, and closely forecast the situation, perform well the advisory function, propose appropriate policies and solutions in handling situations and incidents occurring on the border, and avoid being passive or surprised.

The Congress elected the new Party Executive Committee consisting of 5 comrades, elected 5 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the higher-level congress. Major Ly Cong Thanh ( Political Commissar ) was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
