On the morning of April 28, in Ma Cooih commune (Dong Giang district, Quang Nam), FVG Group held the opening ceremony of Dong Giang Heaven Gate eco-tourism area. After nearly 7 years of construction, including 2 years of trial operation, the project has now been officially put into operation. Dong Giang Heaven Gate eco-tourism area is one of the key tourism projects with a scale of 120 hectares in the mountainous area of western Quang Nam with a total investment of nearly 800 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group (project investor), said that after nearly 2 years of operating and welcoming guests in phase 1, the tourist area has welcomed more than 120,000 visitors and guests. In addition, the project has also deployed many tourism product packages to contribute to diversifying services, helping visitors have more experiences about nature and indigenous culture at the tourist area.
With the goal of building a core force to create jobs, contribute to poverty reduction, and develop the local economy, from construction to operation, the project has recruited nearly 1,000 workers who are local Co Tu people.
In phase 2 of operation, FVG Group plans to continue recruiting and training 150 - 200 local workers, continuing to exploit many programs associated with indigenous architectural and cultural elements... to create unique tourism products, create livelihoods and develop sustainable tourism.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Dong Giang Heaven Gate eco-tourism area persistently pursues the orientation of sustainable development of green tourism with 4 criteria: eco-tourism, resort, spirituality, and maximizing the promotion of indigenous culture.
In the second quarter of 2024, Dong Giang Heaven Gate is expected to officially put into operation the cable car section - this is the first cable car line in Quang Nam with a cable length of more than 1,600 m, designed using decorative motifs in the traditional culture of the Co Tu people.
When officially put into operation, the project promises to bring exciting and adventurous experiences to visitors when "hunting clouds" and immersing themselves in the wild space of majestic mountains and forests.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the determination and determination of FVG Group to complete the project despite many difficulties and challenges due to natural disasters, epidemics, and limited infrastructure conditions. Dong Giang with its pristine and majestic beauty is considered a meeting place of the great forest and a glorious history in the nation's long resistance war.

The official opening of Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area will be the premise for tourism in the western mountainous region of Quang Nam to create a new and good impression on visitors. The project also has a pioneering meaning, contributing to attracting more new investment projects, awakening the potential and enhancing the position and competitiveness of mountainous tourism, realizing the goal of developing the planning of the whole Quang Nam province according to the spatial structure model "2 regions, 2 dynamic clusters, 3 development corridors" approved by the Prime Minister.
Notably, the western Quang Nam region is oriented to rise up and transform strongly into a "magnet" to attract tourists.
