The Press Center is located in the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Ho Chi Minh City, equipped with a large LED screen to broadcast live events of the Great Ceremony. The Center is also equipped with computers and high-speed internet access for reporters and journalists to work.
The opening and closing ceremonies of Vesak 2025 will be broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam (VOV). The art exchange performances will be broadcast live on BChannel - BTV9 An Vien.



Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Organizing Committee will organize press reception points at 2 locations: the City Press Center (No. 255 Tran Hung Dao, Co Giang Ward, District 1) and at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (339 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3).
The bus departs at 4:30 p.m. and returns in the afternoon; from May 3 to May 8, 2025. All flying devices are advised not to be used within the grounds of the Grand Ceremony.

According to the Organizing Committee, during Vesak 2025, for the first time, the public will be able to worship the Buddha's relics and the heart relics of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc. Earlier in the morning of the same day, the Buddha's relics officially arrived in Vietnam and were enshrined at Thanh Tam Pagoda from May 2 to 8.
In addition, within the framework of this year's Great Festival, a Buddhist cultural exhibition will take place at the Vietnam Buddhist Academy campus. The exhibition will introduce to the public for the first time a number of national treasures.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Tan, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ho Chi Minh City, said that in the preparation process for Vesak 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has closely coordinated with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in all preparation stages. This morning, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, came to welcome the Buddha's relics with Most Venerable Thich Tri Quang, Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Most Venerable Thich Thien Nhon, Deputy Supreme Patriarch, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Dao Ngoc Dung.
Vesak held in Ho Chi Minh City is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to introduce to international friends the Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity, rich in humanity and religious freedom, contributing to spreading the good values of the Vietnamese people to the international community.
