Free medical examination and medicine for flood victims in Dien An and Dien Dien on November 25

Both charity medical teams from Khanh Hoa General Hospital will examine and give free medicine to people in flood-affected areas on November 25 in Dien An and Dien Dien communes (old Dien Khanh).

According to information from the hospital, both charity medical examination teams were established under the direction of the Board of Directors of Khanh Hoa General Hospital. On November 25, they will examine and give free medicine to people in flood-affected areas in the old Dien Khanh area, at two locations: the Dien Dien Commune Party Committee headquarters and the Dien An Medical Station.

On the evening of November 24, Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Thuong - Secretary of the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa General Hospital - said that each medical examination team at each of the above locations included 10 doctors and nurses from the hospital.

The time for medical examination and free medicine distribution to people is expected to last one day but depends on the number of people who need to come for examination.

In addition to providing free medical examinations and medicine, doctors from Khanh Hoa General Hospital at the above charity medical examination points will give charitable gifts (including biological products and necessities donated by the hospital) to people in flood-affected areas who come for medical examinations.

Regarding professional activities, according to Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Thuong, at each charity medical examination point there will be examination tables for pediatric patients, gynecological patients and internal medicine patients.

For common diseases that arise during floods (digestive tract diseases; hand and foot dermatitis; pink eye; upper respiratory tract infections, etc.), doctors at Khanh Hoa General Hospital will examine and provide free medicine to patients and provide instructions and treatment for patients with other diseases.
