Medical examination and treatment within approved scope of practice

Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:

Currently, people with the title of preventive medicine doctor, when qualified, will be granted a license to practice within the scope of preventive medicine.

For this scope, the specific content for the permitted technical categories is clearly stated in Appendix 7 of Circular No. 32/2023/TT-BYT dated December 31, 2023 of the Minister of Health. Medical examination and treatment is based on the scope of practice for which the practitioner is approved.
