Khe To Goldfish Stream
Hidden in the peaceful mountains of Trung Thinh hamlet, Nghia Trung commune (Nghia Dan district), Khe To goldfish stream is a "virtual living coordinate" sought after by many tourists during the summer days.
Not too noisy, without bustling tourist services, Khe To leaves an impression with its pure, peaceful beauty with clear water murmuring next to large and small rocks, and especially the strange presence of thousands of shiny goldfish swimming in the cool water.

Interestingly, this place is not a professionally planned tourist destination, but originated from the passion and creative ideas of a local farmer - Mr. Pham The Vinh.
From a stream section more than 50m long and about 40m wide, Mr. Vinh renovated, embellished, and harmoniously combined the natural and the artificial to create a unique "goldfish garden".
With cement, wood, natural stone and rich imagination, he created waterfalls and wooden bridges for visitors to walk and admire schools of goldfish, some of which weigh up to 3-5kg.

Not only is it enchantingly beautiful, Khe To goldfish stream is also convenient for transportation. The road to the stream has been upgraded, the parking lot is spacious, surrounded by colorful flower trellises all year round created by human hands. All create a wonderful relaxing space, holding the feet of anyone who has ever visited.
"Hiding from the sun" in Phu Tuong area
If you love eco-tourism and want to explore the true wild beauty, Tuong Duong district will certainly not disappoint you. As a mountainous district in the West of Nghe An, Tuong Duong is blessed by nature with a system of streams, waterfalls and vast primeval forests.

In recent years, local people and authorities have begun to invest in building eco-tourism experience spots, notably Nam Khien stream. Originating from the Vietnam-Laos border, Nam Khien stream winds through many mountain ranges and villages of Luu Kien commune, before merging into Nam Mo river. The stream is clear and cool with alternating shallow and deep sections, suitable for all ages. Children can play in the shallow and calm water sections, while adults can soak in the cold water to dispel the heat of summer.
On the journey upstream of Nam Khien stream, visitors can encounter strange rocks, which have been polished by the water over the years into many unique shapes. These are also check-in spots that young people "hunt" for their pristine, mysterious beauty.
During the holidays, the camps around Nam Khien stream are always full because of the large number of tourists. Not only do visitors have the opportunity to bathe in the cool water, they also have the opportunity to enjoy typical highland dishes such as grilled fish in bamboo tubes, grilled hill chicken, sticky rice, etc. All are imbued with the rich flavor of the mountains and forests.

In addition to Nam Khien stream, places like Nam Xan (Tam Quang), Khe Co (Tam Dinh), Dooc Bua (Tam Thai) ... in Tuong Duong are also gradually becoming favorite "hot spots" for tourists from Vinh city and lowland districts. This place not only brings a cool feeling, but also helps children have the opportunity to explore nature, learn to love and protect the environment.
Masterpiece of cave, majestic heritage tree
Western Nghe An also has many beautiful natural caves. One of them is Mo Cave in Tien Ky Commune, Tan Ky District. Hidden in the peaceful Thai Minh village, Mo Cave is like a giant natural sculpture, with sparkling stalactites hanging down and a murmuring underground stream flowing all year round. In the summer, the cave is cool like a natural air conditioner, the perfect destination to "cool off".

When entering Mo Cave, visitors will feel as if they are lost in a fairyland. The light shines through the crevices of the rocks, reflecting on the stalactites, creating a shimmering, mysterious scene.
Not only sightseeing, coming to Tien Ky is also an opportunity to learn about the indigenous culture of the Thai people - people who preserve traditional lifestyle through brocade weaving, each bamboo dance, ethnic dishes, and especially the warm hospitality.

Thung Khien Cave in Dong Van Commune is also a destination chosen by many backpackers and nature lovers. The journey to conquer caves like this is not only a physical journey, but also a journey to find peace of mind in the midst of the hurried modern world.
Coming to Tan Ky district, tourists can also visit the thousand-year-old banyan tree in Ke Mui hamlet, Giai Xuan commune. This thousand-year-old banyan tree has a strange shape, and is popularly called the "chicken raspberry" tree. The tree grows on three floating rocks, and underneath is a very large submerged rock.

Two blocks of stone lie parallel, with a gap of about 30 cm in the middle, creating a stable position for the top block of stone. The tree roots hug the three blocks of stone tightly, creating a stable position like the image of a "raspberry" with a proud "rooster" on top.

This thousand-year-old banyan tree was recognized as a Vietnam Heritage Tree in 2015. Many people come here not only to admire its majestic appearance but also to find a peaceful, quiet place in the middle of the mountains and forests.
Nghe An in the summer not only has Cua Lo beach, Bai Lu beach, but also has countless "green oases" in the great wilderness - cool streams, mysterious caves, and immense green forests in the West of the province - a land that is awakening, carrying within itself enormous tourism potential, eagerly awaiting the hands of humans to open up, cultivate and cherish./.
