Protecting the original state and landscape of the relic is an urgent task, requiring the synchronous and drastic participation of all levels and sectors,” Vice Chairman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi requested.
Nam Chon Station has an area of about 14,272m², built in a solid defensive style with two layers of walls, a surrounding moat and four gates opening in four directions.
The project was built on coastal sandy soil using the technique of stacking stones without mortar, clearly demonstrating the technical level and military strategic thinking of the Nguyen Dynasty. This is one of the typical military defense projects that has remained almost intact since the Nguyen Dynasty.
