Affirming the role of the Trade Union of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication in spreading emulation movements

Attending the Congress were comrade Pham Dinh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's Trade Union; comrade Nguyen Viet Dung, Party Cell Secretary, Director of the Center for Communication of Natural Resources and Environment; deputy directors and all union members of the Center.

Permanent Vice President of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Trade Union Vu Thi Mai Lan gave a speech directing the Congress.

Reporting at the Congress, Comrade Cao Minh Tuan, Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Director of the Center for Communication of Natural Resources and Environment, said that in the 2019-2023 term, with the proactive and active direction of the leaders, and the support of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, the staff and employees of the Center have united, bonded, tried to overcome all difficulties, strived to compete in labor, production, technical improvement, innovation in management work, contributing to the successful completion of all tasks set out in the annual plan, ensuring progress, quality and efficiency.

During the past term, the Center's Trade Union and its affiliated Trade Union Groups have actively coordinated in participating in assigning and arranging labor in a scientific and reasonable manner, regulating work for officials and employees to ensure balance and harmony; advising the Center's leaders on allocating and assigning state budget funds to units in accordance with the tasks and capabilities of each affiliated unit.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Dung, Party Cell Secretary, Director of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication, gave a speech directing the Congress.

In particular, the Trade Union has coordinated with the government in propagating and mobilizing cadres and civil servants to participate in building functions and tasks, perfecting the organizational structure, arranging and re-arranging the force of cadres, civil servants and workers to suit the characteristics and situation of each unit; contributing opinions to the Board of Directors on issues related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers in the assignment, transfer of work, appointment of cadres, recruitment of civil servants, rewards and discipline; promptly grasping and reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the masses to the Center's leadership and coordinating to effectively implement democracy in activities.

Following the direction of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Trade Union, in many diverse and rich forms, in recent years, the Trade Union of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication has done a good job of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. Implementing Directives, Resolutions and Working Policies of the superior Trade Union; Directives, Resolutions of the Party Committee and Resolutions of the Central Trade Union Congress; actively propagating and mobilizing trade union members to study and improve their political , cultural, professional, professional skills, awareness of law compliance, regulations and rules of agencies and units.

During the past term, the Center's Trade Union has always paid attention to organizing patriotic emulation movements, attracting a large number of officials and workers. Through emulation movements, they have contributed significantly to the successful completion of the political tasks of the Center and each unit. From emulation movements, more and more typical and advanced collectives and individuals have emerged, which have been widely replicated and spread, and have become a driving force for officials, officials and workers to strive to improve.

With a proactive and creative spirit, the Central Trade Union Executive Committee has concretized the emulation movements "Excellent workers" and "Creative workers" in accordance with the characteristics and political tasks of the agency. The emulation movements are integrated and linked with the campaign "Studying and following the example, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh" and the campaign to build "Loyal, creative, dedicated, exemplary" cadres and civil servants; the emulation movement "Building a cultural agency, 8-hour working day, quality and efficiency";...

In addition to performing well the tasks assigned by the State, the Center encourages units to be active and proactive in seeking service contracts to promote the existing capacity of the unit, create more jobs, increase income for workers and generate revenue for the unit.

According to comrade Cao Minh Tuan, in the 2023-2028 term, the Trade Union of the Center for Communications of Natural Resources and Environment will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots and union members, building a team of civil servants and employees with strong political will, good expertise, professionalism, sharpness and dedication to work in accordance with the motto "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development". In particular, performing well the representative role, taking care of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of civil servants and employees; effectively organizing patriotic emulation movements, developing union members, building union organizations, participating in Party building, building clean and strong agencies and units.

Speaking at the Congress, on behalf of the Party Cell and the Center's leadership, Comrade Nguyen Viet Dung, Party Cell Secretary and Director of the Center for Communications and Environment, assessed: The Center's Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2019-2023 term has built a disciplined, responsible and effective trade union organization. The results of the Trade Union's activities have made important contributions to the Center's overall activities in the past time, contributing to the successful completion of the political tasks and annual plans set out.

Emphasizing that the upcoming tasks are very heavy, comrade Nguyen Viet Dung hopes that the Union will continue to make efforts and be responsible, truly be a strong organization, continue to promote its role, promptly make proposals and recommendations on solutions to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members, and improve working conditions for union members.

To do this, comrade Nguyen Viet Dung suggested that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union should continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots and union members; be proactive and creative in organizing patriotic emulation movements; do a good job of propaganda and education, contributing to improving the quality of cadres, civil servants and workers to meet the development requirements of the Center in the new period.

Through monitoring and directly directing the union activities of the Center, speaking at the Congress, Comrade Vu Thi Mai Lan, Vice President of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Trade Union, highly appreciated and praised the outstanding achievements of the Trade Union of the Center for Communication of Natural Resources and Environment in the past term. It can be proudly affirmed that the Trade Union of the Center has fully completed the Resolution of the First Trade Union Congress and contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the Congress's targets and tasks for the 2019-2023 term.

“The Central Trade Union has promoted its responsibility as a representative, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; proactively and creatively organizing patriotic emulation movements; doing a good job of propaganda and education, contributing to improving the quality of trade union organizations. In particular, trade union members play a key role in promoting and raising social awareness of responsibility and action in environmental protection and climate change response, especially creating a strong change in preventing and combating plastic waste.” - Comrade Vu Thi Mai Lan acknowledged and praised.

According to comrade Vu Thi Mai Lan, in the coming years, along with rapid and sustainable development, deep international integration, and the development of science and technology, it is required that trade union organizations continue to innovate in leadership and direction to further promote the role of socio-political organizations.

In that context, comrade Vu Thi Mai Lan suggested that the Central Trade Union Executive Committee should continue the spirit of innovation, closely follow the requirements of reality to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks, strive for the goal of building a strong and comprehensive trade union organization; perform well the functions and tasks in the new situation. Organize trade union activities in a practical and effective direction; focus on the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members; organize well the emulation and patriotic movements, promote the emulation movement...

In particular, the Executive Committee of the Center's Trade Union needs to proactively and actively grasp the thoughts and aspirations, stabilize the ideology of union members to unite and join forces to successfully carry out the political and professional tasks assigned to the Center by the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; actively participate in building a clean and strong Party, agencies and units.

At the Congress, with a sense of responsibility, the delegates elected 7 outstanding comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communications for the 2023-2028 term; elected delegates representing the Center's Trade Union to attend the Congress of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term.
