Maintain the top achievements in the country
According to comrade Nguyen Tien Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training, the 2025 High School Graduation Exam takes place in the context that the whole country is entering the process of merging administrative units and implementing the two-level local government model. The High School Graduation Exam Councils of all three former provinces (Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh , Ha Nam) and Ninh Binh province after the merger have successfully organized the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. This year, the whole province has a total of 46,667 candidates registered to take the exam; of which 45,896 candidates will take the exam according to the 2018 general education program and 771 candidates will take the exam according to the 2006 general education program.
According to data released by the Ministry of Education and Training , the average score of candidates in Ninh Binh province was 6.47 points, exceeding the national average (6.17 points) and ranking 3rd in the country, after Nghe An (6.589 points) and Ha Tinh (6.525 points). Of the 11 subjects, 9 subjects in which candidates from Ninh Binh province achieved average scores in the top 10 nationwide; of which 7 subjects were in the top 4 leading provinces and cities nationwide. Notably, 3 subjects had average scores that ranked highest in the country (Informatics with an average score of 8.461 points; Geography with 7.224 points; Mathematics with 5.406 points). The remaining subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, History, Biology, Economic and Legal Education all exceeded the national average score, reflecting the uniformity in teaching quality and review effectiveness at high schools in the province. In addition, the whole province recorded 1,045 exams with a score of 10 - an impressive achievement that puts Ninh Binh in the group of 5 localities with the most absolute scores in the country. Of which, Geography: 486 exams; Physics: 293 exams; Chemistry: 47 exams; Economic and Legal Education: 43 exams; Mathematics: 41 exams.
In addition to the positive results in the average score and each subject score, this year's high school graduation exam also recorded proud achievements of the students: Nguyen The An, a student of Kim Son A High School, achieved a perfect score of 30/30 in block A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), becoming one of the 9 valedictorians nationwide; Tran Xuan Dam, a student of My Loc High School, achieved a total score of 39/40 with perfect scores in Math and Physics, belonging to the group of candidates with the highest graduation exam scores in the country; Vu Thanh Lam, a student of Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted, excellently became the valedictorian of block A01 of the province with a total score of 29 (Math 10, Physics 10, English 9).
The specialized high schools: Le Hong Phong, Luong Van Tuy, Bien Hoa respectively lead the province with positions 1, 2, 3 with average scores of 7.88; 7.67; 7.64 respectively. Of which, Le Hong Phong specialized high school has 5/11 subjects ranked first in the province; Legal knowledge/Civic education ranked second in the province; Biology, History, Geography all ranked third in the province...
High schools also achieved outstanding results. Mr. Hoang Trung Sam, Principal of Hoang Van Thu High School, said: This year, the school has a total of 415 grade 12 students participating in the high school graduation exam and 100% of students passed the graduation exam with proud achievements. The average score of the high school graduation exam is 7.42 points; ranked fourth in the province after the specialized schools. The school has a number of students: Nguyen Dinh Minh, class 12A1, has the highest total score of the school at 38.25 points (Math 10 points; Physics 10 points), the highest score in block A is 29.5 points; Tran Quang Hanh, class 12A1 (Math 10 points), the total score is 38.25 points, block A is 29.25 points; Pham Thi Thuy Hoa, class 12A9, has the highest score in block C at 27.5 points; Pham Viet Anh, class 12A1, achieved the highest score in block B with 27.25 points; in addition, the school has 16 students achieving perfect scores of 10 in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography...
Solid foundation for growth
Comrade Pham Tien Dung, Head of the Department of Quality Management, Department of Education and Training, said that after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the Department of Education and Training urgently directed specialized departments and educational institutions to carry out the work of considering and recognizing graduation exam results for candidates to register for admission to universities and colleges...
Accordingly, in this year's high school graduation exam, the whole province has 95 candidates exempted from all exams and considered for graduation recognition; 66 candidates exempted from the Foreign Language exam and 17 candidates qualified for special graduation. The whole province has 45,539 candidates taking the exam for graduation recognition; 45,266 candidates qualified and recognized for graduation. Of which, the number of candidates recognized for graduation who took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program is 19 candidates; the number of candidates recognized for graduation who took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program is 45,247 candidates. There are 273 candidates who are not eligible to be recognized as graduates because their exam scores or graduation assessment scores do not meet the regulations (9 candidates who are not eligible to graduate took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program and 264 candidates who are not eligible to graduate took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program). High school graduation rate in 2025: Candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program reached 67.86%; candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program reached 99.42%. Of which, 38,718 students studying the high school program were recognized as graduating from high school, reaching 99.93%; 6,529 students studying the high school continuing education program were recognized as graduating from high school, reaching 96.53%.
The outstanding achievements in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam are clear evidence of the steady development of the Education and Training sector of Ninh Binh province in recent times and are a solid foundation for the 2025-2026 school year, the first school year to implement the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2025-2030 of the province and the Education Development Strategy for the period 2025-2030.
In the coming time, the Education and Training sector of Ninh Binh province will continue to focus on implementing key tasks of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training in the spirit of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee and Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW of the Politburo; effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program; promoting digital transformation throughout the sector; developing high-quality human resources to meet the socio-economic development requirements of the province in the new situation.
