Khanh Hoa does not open Agarwood Festival

The Agarwood Festival within the framework of the Nha Trang Sea Culture - Tourism Festival 2025 did not have an opening ceremony due to weather conditions affecting the organization.

On the evening of June 6, Mr. Bien Quoc Dung, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Province Agarwood Association, said that the Agarwood Festival within the framework of the Nha Trang Sea Culture and Tourism Festival 2025 will not have an opening ceremony and incense offering ceremony at the Ponagar Tower relic.

“Due to the heavy rain affecting the organization of the program, the Organizing Committee could not carry out the above contents. However, other activities of the program are still taking place normally,” Mr. Dung informed.

Currently, the ongoing activities of the event include displaying and introducing agarwood products; demonstrating agarwood processing... Previously, the festival called "Linh Thieng Xua Tram 2025" was scheduled to open at 7:30 p.m. on June 6 at Cu Huan Park, Nha Trang City with the opening ceremony and art program.

According to the Organizing Committee, this is an opportunity to honor the traditional craft of Khanh Hoa agarwood, contributing to promoting the image of the country and people of Khanh Hoa in a close relationship with the agarwood heritage; honoring and introducing the cultural and historical values ​​of the agarwood land to friends and tourists near and far; affirming the position and brand of Khanh Hoa agarwood.

According to the reporter's report that evening, the stage area was covered with tarpaulin, many booths were closed, but many people and tourists still came to enjoy agarwood products at the festival grounds.

The 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival with the theme "Nha Trang say Hi!" organized by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has nearly 40 activities, events of art performances, culture, festivals, sports competitions, cuisine, environmental protection... taking place from the end of May to the end of June; in which, the peak time of events takes place from June 7 to June 9.
