After nearly a year of construction, Vo Van Tan High School was completed and put into use at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.
Comrade Vo Van Tan belonged to the previous generation of revolutionary soldiers, the first party members of the Communist Party of Vietnam , and was a typical and outstanding leader of the Vietnamese revolution.

The Vo Van Tan school is built on a 3-hectare campus, with 28 classrooms and 18 functional rooms, ensuring learning services for more than 2,000 students. The total construction cost is more than 100 billion VND.
At the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa said that the inauguration of Vo Van Tan High School not only solves the difficulty in facilities for teaching and learning for local children, but also aims to build a school that meets national standards, contributing to improving the quality of education in Duc Hoa district. This is the first public school in Vietnam to be granted the EDGE Green Building Certificate.

Former President Truong Tan Sang presented a book about the revolutionary career of comrade Vo Van Tan and performed the ceremony of handing over and lighting the traditional torch to the school.
Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals who contributed to the school construction process.
