Commencement of the Project of Investment, Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park

QTO - On the morning of August 19, in Vinh Linh commune, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with investor Amber Industrial Parks to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project. Attending the ceremony were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Dong Ha Ward Party Committee Le Quang Chien; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tran Huy; representatives of departments, branches and localities.

The project covers an area of 214.77 hectares, with a total investment of VND1,250 billion, and is planned to receive a variety of industries, with priority given to processing and manufacturing, logistics, supporting industries and clean industries. This is one of the large-scale projects in the area, marking an important step in the sustainable industrial development process of the new Quang Tri province after the merger.

Ho Xa Northwest Industrial Park has a favorable location when directly connected to National Highway 1, National Highway 9D and the North-South railway, about 60km from My Thuy deep-water port. In the future, the project will be located in an area that directly benefits from the Quang Tri airport being deployed, contributing to the formation of a “water - air - road” transportation triangle, creating a great advantage in logistics.

Ho Xa Northwestern Industrial Park has invested in synchronous infrastructure, including an internal traffic system with a main axis of 30 - 45m wide, a wastewater treatment system, electricity supply, water supply and technical support services, creating favorable conditions for businesses to deploy production.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of the Dong Ha Ward Party Committee Le Quang Chien affirmed: Quang Tri Province is committed to accompanying investors in the process of project implementation; ensuring that all incentive mechanisms and policies are applied correctly, sufficiently and promptly; quickly removing arising obstacles; creating the most favorable conditions from site clearance, administrative procedures to technical infrastructure support and human resources, so that the project can be implemented on schedule, with the highest quality and efficiency.

He also requested investors to seriously implement their commitments to the province, implement the project on the right scale and investment phases; focus resources, organize construction vigorously; complete phase 1 (Area A) in the second quarter of 2028 and phase 2 (Area B) in the fourth quarter of 2030, ensuring quality and safety of the project.
