Construction of 60 Great Solidarity houses started

During this period, the whole province built 60 Great Solidarity houses; of which, Ninh Phuoc district was supported to build 26 houses; Thuan Nam 13 houses; Ninh Son 10 houses; Ninh Hai 7 houses and Thuan Bac 4 houses. The minimum cost to build each house is 100 million VND; of which, the provincial "For the Poor" Fund supported 50 million VND, the provincial budget 20 million VND, the district "For the Poor" Fund 20 million VND, the remaining amount mobilized from family, clan, and community. The minimum house area is 32 square meters, the house structure ensures the "3 hard" standard (hard floor, hard frame - hard wall and hard roof) and has a toilet.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and local leaders performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Great Unity House.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: Although there are still many difficulties in mobilizing resources to implement Project 384, with the spirit of trying and making efforts, from the beginning of 2024 up to now, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has built nearly 350 houses and continues to strive to have more spacious homes for poor and near-poor households by the end of the year.

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Great Unity house.

In this Great Solidarity House construction campaign, he requested all levels, sectors and localities to promote their sense of responsibility, monitor and urge the construction process, ensure smooth progress, regulations, criteria and quality; continue to mobilize resources, funds and efforts to soon complete houses for people. After receiving support, households need to continue to strive in work and production to escape poverty and have a prosperous and happy life. On this occasion, he thanked the hearts and noble gestures of agencies, units and enterprises that have cared for the lives of the poor and hoped that in the coming time, organizations and individuals will continue to pay attention and support resources to join hands and contribute to help people have more opportunities and conditions to improve their lives.
