TPO – On the morning of September 15, construction units began leveling the ground, determined to speed up the progress of building temporary houses for households in Lang Nu area while waiting for the new resettlement area to be completed.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Tran Trong Thong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province said that after discussing and reaching an agreement with the people, 25 households were in urgent need of temporary housing, and 10 other households were staying with relatives.
On the morning of September 15, the locality ordered construction units to level the ground, determined to speed up the construction of temporary houses for households to stabilize their lives.

According to Mr. Thong, after leveling the ground, we will pour the cement foundation, build a shed and cover the roof with cement. It is expected to be completed within the next 3-4 days.
Also on the afternoon of September 15, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee decided to choose the sim hill area near Minh Duc as a new resettlement area for 40 households of Lang Nu to live and re-establish a new life.
This area has an area of 10 hectares, located nearly 2km from the old residence. In addition to ensuring safety factors such as landslides, flash floods, and flash floods, this location is quite convenient for transportation, close to water sources and people's production areas. Immediately after finalizing the resettlement plan, Bao Yen district immediately started the work of measuring, counting, and compensating for site clearance. Up to now, 6 households with cultivated land in the resettlement planning area have agreed to give up their land.
